The Rest Of The Team:
Practice Nurse
Before making an appointment, please check that the nurse can deal with your problem.
District Nurse
Based at the Crowndale Health Centre (020 7530 3456) or Gospel Oak (020 7530 4600). The district nurses provide nursing care for patients unable to attend the surgery.
Health Visitor
Our health visitor holds a walk-in clinic on Friday afternoons at the practice.
She can provide information and support to families with small children, for example, weighing and feeding advice.
Midwives
The midwives from the Royal Free Hospital and University College Hospital arrange to see their patients in the community.
Practice Manager
The practice manager can help if you have any non-medical organisational problems you wish to discuss.
Receptionists
Our receptionists will be able to help you decide on how best to use the services on offer. They may ask for further details when you telephone to ensure that they can help you as effectively as possible. They are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the doctors.
Pharmacist
There is a pharmacy situated next door to the surgery. Mr Lalani, the pharmacist, can treat many minor ailments and give advice on any concerns you may have about your medications.
Zero Tolerance
We strongly support the NHS policy on zero tolerance. Anyone attending the surgery who abuses the GPs, staff or other patients be it verbally, physically or in any threatening manner whatsoever, will risk instant removal from the practice list.
In extreme cases we may summon the police to remove offenders from the practice premises.
