Home Visits

We ask patients to come to the surgery if possible, as clinical assessments can be made in better equipped surroundings. We provide home visits for the housebound or if the patient is acutely unwell and unable to attend the surgery. We would be grateful if you could phone before 11.00 in the morning if you feel an urgent home visit is necessary. The receptionist will ask you for a brief description of your problem in order to assist the doctor and a confirmation of your address. The on call doctor will call you and discuss your problems. In some cases telephone advice may be appropriate or the doctor will arrange a suitable time to visit.
